Green is *in*

--in a unique and special way for us creative types! Happy Birthday, Mortadella!

Please pardon the photography quality, composition, cropping, and sizing.

Sorry, I haven't mastered the blogger's skill of judiciously picking the few and the proper photos (or taking them, for that matter). Just a few more; bear with me.

These were taken before W told me there is a close-up function on my camera.

Bags *are* multi-purpose....

Thank you, once more, to Dixon, who gave me the Tiny Tailor! Here we see the poor thing resting after all the trauma.

A close-up of a machine deep in PTSD.

Actual Fact

I did some lite crafting awhile back! For Mortadella's matrimonial mayfair.

The envelope

I got the paper supplies from the fantastic Flax, oh and also the watercolor supplies and the rubber. The inspiration I got from Mr. Bernard Maybeck, who designed the venue for the big event. The arch depicted here was an entryway (not a window), from living area to kitchen, in a Berkeley, CA home Mr. Maybeck designed for his son Wallen. The original is much more beautiful and impressive.

The dark brown part is done by rubber stamp, and the other coloring is watercolor. Hand-lettering. I'm not sure which is the front and which is the back (I should know: I'm the creator, right? I'm going to go with this).

The front.

On the front I made the arch into something of a window effect, with a tree that evokes, to me anyhow, California, and the specific venue.

The back.

On the back, I painted pale blue flax flowers, in keeping with the theme. Fun was had by all. Thank you to Dixon without whom this shower would not have happened.

The Teeny Tardo

That's what this blog should really be called. Yesterday, the most notable thing I made was a howlin blooper. Foreclosure 101: FAIL ! Hahaha.

As Hancock would say, "GOOD JOB!"

Hi!

Now, those who know me would agree that really this blog should be called the Lazy Lil' Lie-a-Bed; or the Nappin', No-craftin', Bed-lovin' Bookworm; or something silly-but-true like that, but! 'The Tiny Tailor' it is and shall be.

Hopefully!

Positive thoughts!
